Dave, if these books allow people to take the first steps down the route of exploring their own sexuality then what's wrong with that? Maybe your mate will now start to sell more books, which can only be good for him!
I remember once he did a similar thing so I thought ok I'll finish off with bluey (that's one of my vb's) but the bastard had hidden all the batteries!
I had to stop reading them as I couldn't put them down and started suffering from sleep deprivation they aren't well written and can get a bit repetitive but as bits of fluff they're not that bad. The biggest problem I had is that because of my hot flushes and Archers bad back we sleep in separate rooms so me getting all hot and bothered was a bit of a waste :-(
