Buy a bike. Junk everything except the frame. Pay top dollar for a knackered engine from E bay. Buy everything from NCR and bolt it on. It was beautiful and anybody could do it all you needed was a spanner and a bit of space. The best bit was it only cost £175,000
Think it was late superlight. Plaque on top yoke. I've watched a few episodes, those yanks haven't got a clue. I don't think those builds will last long before they break down or fall apart.
Sorry fokes, far less interesting than first anticipated, :-( But $150.000 for a tricked out SS does seem a little steep! It didn't even seem to go that well against the clasic, back to the drawing board. Please ignore any future posts about "Cafe Racer"
Did get about 130 horses out of it, though..... ....and only slightly hideous ....... ....which makes a nice change.
Apart from a very light crank they weren't very specific. As (I think) already mentioned they threw most of the NCR catalogue at the thing.
American hp. not British hp. Allow for bullshit factor.Bored and stroked to 1200something. Probably self destruct in a few months.
