  13. Did about 150mls today, far to much of it in towns/traffic. I now understand about this heavy clutch thing. Ouch, ouch, ouch.

  15. Brilliant. Thank you very much. Back in the day I'd go the bike show at Birmingham, look round the bikes, then pop into the National motorcycle museum on the way home. Anyway, I rode at pace to see the new 916, stood in a massive queue, but was suitably impressed. Then I stopped by the NMM on the way home.

    I saw a 1937 Ariel Red Hunter, and it just pee'd all over the 916, far and away the most beautiful bike I've ever seen. Sadly it perished in the big fire. One day I'll own one.
