  3. Thank you Keith,the chemo is over,which I suffered the side effects quite badly,op and radiotherapy next,hopefully by the end of this month.Yes,being positive is very important....some days it's harder than others though,it got my mum......but by fuck it ain't getting me!!!

  4. Donation made Jen. All the best in your recovery. McMillan nurses were great with my Father a couple of years ago. Really worthy cause.
    p.s. my sister was diagnosed with cancer and had a mastectomy over 25 years ago and has been in remission over 20 years. It can be beaten.

  5. Thank you so much Phil :),yes they are great,looked after my mum too,so glad your sister has beaten it too...I aim to do thevery same thing.....got too much to see and do!!!

    Both my mother and father have died from cancer, the Macmillan nurses are brilliant!

  8. MacMillan have been good to me and mine more than once. That's why I do the Bikers 4 MacMillan "Sunset to Sunrise" every year.
    Good luck Jen. Derby hospital is excellent, so you'll be in really good hands.

  11. Yeah,just seen it! This year is out as my op will be around that date,but just spoke to him indoors about it,and we're deffo up for it next year!! :)

  15. Absolutely Steve :upyeah: the more we can get to support Macmillan the better,we really shouldn't have to fundraise for them,this shit government should get their priorities right.....and not just about health.
