  1. Test ride of the DVT Multi today. OMFG!! What an engine, incredible stability and handling. An improvement in the bike all round even if I think the original looks better. But the performance blew my mind. Did a p/x deal there and then. Picking it up 2 weeks on Friday. Can't wait. The king is dead, long live the king!!!

  2. The mid range is stonking :upyeah:

  3. Love my 2012 Ohlins bike but the difference between that and the DVT is mind bending.

  4. 2 week delivery and a delivery date?
Bugger. That's better than some guys who ordered it as soon as they were taking orders!
    Good on ya :)

  5. We'll it was my turn to try the Dvt, can only echo everybody else's thoughts.
What's not to like, I was gob smacked by the difference between this and my 11 s sport.
How much are people paying for an S Touring? My dealers price is £16685 on the road, is this correct

  6. Meds, that's about right.

  7. Ok thanks, just wanted to make sure.

Have been offered £8000 part ex for my 2011 S sport with 18k.

Thought this sound a decent deal

  8. What are you actually gaining for your £9k? A smoother engine, slightly fresher looking bike, anything else?
I can see me running my bike for 50-60k miles as that will take me many years :) as I can't really see the benefit at the moment of changing. I know it's nice to have the latest model but wow, the depreciations a killer isn't it?
If anything, I'd wait a year and pick up a 15 bike for £13k if I was determined to change that much.
    Just saying....:upyeah:

  9. I had exactly the same thoughts.
I went in for a service and mot and actually said to the salesman I'm thinking of going back on a sports bike after my holiday.
Anyway, took the DVT for a spin and..........
I need one in my life

  10. I am thinking of one, and downgrading to the base model from skyhook, simply so I can manage feet down better. 6k bath but cheaper than having leg extenders...

  11. I'm normally quite hard to please but haven't slept much since ;)

  12. There are those who will justify...........There are those who will buy.
    sigh.
    Guess who I am.
    Cant wait.

  13. waiting for the guys to come back re my part ex then its just a case of waiting for the stock bikes to arrive. Have got my name against a white S they have coming in about 6-8wks from now. Didnt opt for a test ride as rode last years S Touring and nearly bought that. Seems I was right to listen to that little voice in my head saying wait a while....pew glad i did. Sat on it at Excel and that was enought for me. It will be my first Ducati having been on mostly GS's recently. They've come and gone and I'm sure i won't be looking back once the mutley is in my garage.......can't wait.

  14. I have a 2012 Ohlins bike and have never ridden a Skyhook of any description. The base model DVT I did ride was running in and I was limiting it to 6000rpm but the thing about the DVT is that it is just more civilised, in a very nice way and the ride on the non Skyhook suspension was perfectly acceptable.

Not rushing out to buy just now but I might next year.
