  1. As above gents - now I know theyre out but apparently so my mate in fowlers (salesman) tells me they all allocated (nationwide to dealers and in turn they've all been bought) but they had this one delivered on Saturday and he doesn't know why...so he's not saying shit....took these pics Saturday but it might already be gone by now...if anyones interested...

  8. The tuono is taller than a multi when sat on it

  9. Great bikes. I have a 2014 Tuono. The only problem with either of these is Aprilia.

  10. Would love to try an RSV4. I was considering one when I first got the Panigale but the lack of dealers put me off, plus the Panigale sex appeal :)

  11. I really fancy an rsv4 factory but fear I would bury it at 6ft 4". Interesting to hear cooksters comment on it being a larger bike than the 1198. Saying that, I sat on my friends 899 and it felt like a mini moto. I have a 1098 which feels large compared to my gsxr1000

  12. Apart from the obvious price issue... there's the fact that I've known 2 mates to have them along with 2 mates having weeks and months without their bikes as it spat the dummy out in a big way.

  13. Yep, this is exactly what I found when I had my Tuono. Great bike but it was hard work with the dealers.

To be fair, my current local Apriliia dealer is great, but he reckons he has to keep on top of the factory when ordering spares etc. They do seem to be a bit of a headache.

  14. Was that early or late models Weeksy?

  15. 1st was a 2012 APRC.
2nd bike is I think an 11 APRC.

  16. Same or worse than Ducati? ;)

  17. Possibly could be argued... but seems that the Prilas when they go wrong go REALLY wrong... whereas Ducatis are often just niggly stuff wrong...The road based bike ended up more time in the dealers than out of it...

The 2nd bike has been ridden, broken down and repaird then sold.

  18. Shame - as I have been tempted on occasion.
One just needs to know if the problems are real or just internet/pub chatter, like "don't buy Ducati mate the electrics are shit"

  19. Agree 100 % on that... But IME both of the ones 2 different people I know and ride with have owned have shit their pants.

The last one dropped the end off the spark plug down into the engine... Apparently it melted... This of course isn't impossible... but you have to ask yourself why it happened...

I don't think I'd personally risk one ... certainly not if I needed it regularly and certainly not out of warranty...

Then again... I wouldn't touch an 1199 for the same reasons.
