  1. My 1998 750ss was refusing to fire on the rear pot. Initial investigations revealed the coil was knackered, replaced that but its still a very weak spark, having tested the pick up coil, thats ready to be replaced and the stator/generator has burnt the coating off some of its coils.
As the bike is nearly 28 years old, I'm going to replace the lot. I read somewhere that some companies make uprated parts, does anyone know who, or failing that, someone who does decent equivalent parts at not Ducati dealer prices?
    Cheers.

  2. I was about to at you Al :)

  3. I wonder if he could do a deal with Brembo or his suppliers in the States to get brake and clutch service kits in.

  4. Yes I could do with some of those about now.

  5. Presumably he'd have to sign the disclaimer that Ducsti allegedly declined to...
Great idea though - how about it @Exige??

  6. I can ask the question, no harm in asking if they have considered :)

  7. Might be able to get them from the UK KTM distributor.
Seems crazy to get them from the US...

  8. Not wanting to be pedantic, but your bike is nearly 18 years old, not 28... They (and we) get old fast enough without extra help.

  9. Mine is 18 this year.............

...........I'll have to take it down the pub for a birthday drink I suppose.....

  10. Well, normally the years get knocked off, not added! Nice one, I'll check that site out.

  11. apoplogise for the random search engine on here, both worth a try to find many similar threads - here's an old one with useful information but you need to read the whole thread as some is incorrect - you need the THREE OHM version : - Which Dyna coils for 900 sl / ss engines ? | Ducati Forum

I don't know what's happened to SPIKE recently, a wealth of knowledge on tuning as well as many others on here.

  12. Dose that mean your having a party Al? Is it a surprise party and who will be driving the bike home??

  13. The 900 is 21 this year and gets the key to the garage
