Pleased to see that after all the rain yesterday the newly built workshop is watertight. The guy has turned up to do the fitting out of flooring, insulation and boarding, and the electrical bits have arrived. Now off to dentist for some Kango drilling and concreting.I will not be happy for a long time after this so it will be wine, tramadol and anything else I can find.
All the best for the dentist visit Merv hope it's not too painful It's not somewhere I'm in a hurry to return too :Nailbiting:
i remember once at the dentist after getting a filling flirting with the receptionist and thinking i was in there, then spotting my reflection in the glass. there must of been about two inches of bogy running down my face and dripping of my chin. fecking anesthetic, another knock back.
This morning I have suffered the disgruntlement of one of the ex-Mrs Yul Brynner. Apparently she lives near our shop (this is one wealthy area) in a monster fuck-off house worth zillions. I only had to deal with her by phone, but she appears she is a complete bag. No wonder Yul got rid of her in the 60s.
I didn't get the chance. She's just bought a secondhand Mac (why? why?) and it was her factotum who did all the business - who is a charming woman. We were then phoned up saying that the Mac wouldn't switch on - strange. Whereupon, it seemed that the ex-Mrs Brynner ripped the phone out of the hand of her companion and let me have an earful. The Mac was brought back to the shop a couple of hours later, where it immediately worked perfectly. I assume the old boot is now about 103.
An old friend of mine had a dentist who used to sort out all my mate's track days for him. I assume the dentist had a private practice as my NHS dentist didn't want to know when I asked him about this service.
The dental work is not to much of a problem, but the after effects of jaw pain can last for weeks,my system is screwed and doesn't behave normally,it has a mind of its own.Right now I am freezing cold, yesterday my blood pressure fell through the floor.Nothing can be done to cure me,just a few drugs to ease the symptoms. The odd purchase of a completely inappropriate motorcycle helps and the dreams of things I would like to do.Good old Mrs Mervyn encouraged me to have the workshop built.Hang on,she might lock me up in there.:Angelic:
With painful dental work, you need to deliberately relax your jaw. If you tense up, you magnify the tooth pain. Obviously, this is based upon my personal experience. Mervyn's situation is clearly very different but I hope maybe my advice may help, a little.
This is me complete with hair on my wedding day, just before fate took a shit on me! forgot to mention my wonderful husband who is my rock
