  1. not bad
was the intention to paint the joiner above the headlight
    aperture

  2. Yes it was intentional, always hated that piece spoiling the all red look. Surely ducati could have come up with something better to locate the fairing.

  3. admit it does look a bit after thought

  4. How is the RS paint? Does the anniversary red match?

  5. Impressed with the quality of the paint from Rs goes on nice even in tins, match is pretty good but won't be able to see completely until all fitted on the bike. Will get a finished picture on once it's all back together.

  6. You think 1 can (set of) per body part?

  7. I used 1x can etch primer, 2x cans of base grey, approximately 1.75 cans red & just under 2 cans of lacquer to do the bellypan and top fairing. Both had about 4-5 coats.

  8. That's a lot of cans. How much did that work out as?

  9. I probably could have got away with less Grey, but wanted to give the insides a really good coat and I filled the indicator holes in on the fairing so ended up using more as I sanded it several times which would have saved a can at £15.50. Total spent £93.50 + Vat

  10. All done.... IMG_20150520_203521.JPG
