  1. I like it teenage owner :) good find.

  2. Recently acquired TZ250 4tw. Have been keeping an eye out for one of these for years. Just happened that all the stars aligned, and its now mine :)

Apparently there's some history to this bike but I need to look into it all before I believe what I'm told.....anyway a proper inspection and some track time are in order :)

  3. I had one of those - best overall bike ive ever had.....used to wear out foot pegs regularly on it (learnt to wheelie on it, properly)....depending on what you get those front pipes have got a load of sound proof wadding welded into them, cut'em apart, rip the wadding out and it'll sound like a motorcross bike...lovely, couple with a set of dp cans and rejet and its good for 135. I lobbed it down the road a couple of times hence the patchwork panelling...did the tzr250 wheel conversion after the rear wheel caved in from a tussle with a 928s2....ah those were the days... tdr1.PNG tdr2.PNG

  7. it doesn't mater which bike is the best , which is the prettiest but the op was about investing , so which bikes are iconic ? which bikes will rise in value ? what to buy towards pension?
if you bought an investment would you be better removing wheels etc and storing in a crate, dry bags, sprayed with wd40 etc ?

  8. That Tdr is nice...however I gotta say the thing that makes the TDR is the crossover pipes....that ones nice but needs the original headers/front sections and a set of aftermarket rears....

  9. I like my 2 strokes.

For me, the last of production 2008 KX 250.

Honda RS 250 NX5 are somewhat rare and make around £8'000 when they pop up on eBay.

Aprilia RS 250 is a sure winner but I'd go for the dry clutch NSR 250 MC21 SE or SP as they were limited run.
