It's great technology for vehicle detailing, very high end but is fantastic for paintwork protection. The downside is that it doesn't protect against stone chips or anything abrasive, it's more for protecting against the elements, acid rain etc (as far as i'm aware).

 

Like Autoglym Lifeshine maybe?

 

I would say that the ceramic product is a step up from the lifeshine, with a higher cost as well

 

I figured I'll be handing it back in 3 years without paint on the tank. Won't be my problem then
