bloody hell. wife made £650 for the local school with a charity duck race today. not bad. thats an extra 45bucks for each kid. cool.
I don't feel at all bad, considering! 310+ miles on the 999. Apart from some issues with the sheer volume of traffic earlier in the day, it's been brilliant! Just got in, pasta is on the hob. I could eat a whole Scotchman, I'm that hungry This biking lark is excellent
Picked up new battery for the ride-on. Did the shopping. Washed the bike. Hoovered the car. Checked up on the hedgehog (it's in the house bedroom - either dead, or indeed sleeping as it should be. I'll be checking to see if it is out and about tonight.) Cut the grass. Made a paella. Now EUROVISION! Sadly nothing to smoke, as it was always a bit of a tradition to have a Eurovison spliff (vastly more amusing). I think I'm heading off to see the Black Forest boys tomorrow. Should be good.
Hedgehogs are incredibly noisy eaters. One night this summer, when your windows are all open due to the heat, you'll hear the damned thing munching on an earthworm or something. You'll probably end up evicting the 'hog from its home and use the wood for kindling. I've actually been woken from a sound sleep in this way. Astonishing noise.
I like the noisiness of hedgehogs. I like the sniffing and coughing sounds they make. But if this one decides to take up residence, it's all good. The house is a long way from my bedroom - it won't be disturbing me.
