Not what you're thinking! Have aphids on the roses. Just covered them in washing up bubbles as apparently that works. Looks very Christmassy. Neighbours must think I have finally lost the plot.
I checked up on the hedgehog again. Good news. It's very much alive and was sleeping peacefully in the house. So I have put some cat food in the tunnel and put fresh water in its dish. I won't have to bother checking up on it any more - it seems to be in perfect health. Brilliant! Finally a hedgehog lodger for the hedgehog house; I didn't make it in vain after all. Planted flowers and leeks. Weather is improving - no biting north wind. This can only be good news for the tomatoes. Pretty much recovered wristwise from yesterday's long hours in the saddle.
Just driven home from London, spent the weekend watching me ma play football with her grand daughter, and generally spoiling me Ma. Drove home-m25/4/5 listening to the cricket on the radio -quite exciting, and a few days of the match swinging one way the t'other. I'm sure those other drivers lurching from one lane to another without looking where they were driving were also checking the score on their mobile phones, cos they've got no radio. after alll, they wouldn't be texting would they? It's illegal...
Day Three of the weekend done and dusted. Over 700 miles on the 999 (sorry fin). I guess this means I'll have to clean it at some point. What a fabulous weekend
I did around 250 on the Pani over the weekend, and I was gonna do about 100 on the Classic today but I fell asleep then watched Norwich City play a pub team.
Did a lap of several Formula 1 team factories, Williams, Lotus, Force India, Mercedes AMG, Red Bull and Silverstone and Ducati UK. 155 mile trip with some brilliant roads for Hypermotards/ nakeds in Bucks and Oxon. I'll be doing it again in the summer and including McLaren in Surrey if anybody is interested.
Started the weekend sober and single, with a clear plan for the future and an invite to a perfectly middle-class garden party. Then I kissed a woman I've known for years and all it went pete tong! The middle-class garden party turned into a 2-day drink and drugs bender, I'm all loved up, and I appear to have bought another motorbike too! I've taken my clear plans for the future and tossed them into the recycling bin...
