Just added this little beauty to sit alongside our 1098 and 1098S. A YZFR Yamaha 750 which has totally restored 25,000 miles. The brakes work well on this one, got to keep an eye on the oil but she has a 14 tooth front sprocket which adds up to lots and lots of torque and a big grin on my face! The reason I got her was to reminisce from times past and to use her for commuting to work through the summer as the other two ladies are a bit high maintenance for building sites!!
why are you 'upping' Dioscorea - edible perennial herbaceous vines much prized for their starchy tubers - are you a chef? Those are - interesting- colours on the bike, looks in good nick and very clean though
Nice buy! Kenny Roberts speed blocks never seem to disappoint! Does look good in them original colours as well!
i use to have one off them as well. it was white with orange "flames" was a great bike to ride. but after 2 fuel stops i always had to add some oil,so it was time to give it back in. henk!!!
I was thinking along these lines when I saw the thread heading! It took me ages to find a suitable "pony girl" image.....:Angelic:...loads of surfing..
Very nice mate same r1 as mine but mines got 24k on the clock and has a few taste full mods, that r6 is lovely as well. If I could find a mint r6 I'd buy one to keep the r1 company.
