No probs. Could meet at Aylesbury and do Williams last or go further and include McLaren . It works well as a ride plenty of planned stops at interesting places.
Cool, busy next few weeks but maybe end of June/July. Fancy starting a thread on out/about and maybe we can get a few more along?
Flew to Chicago with American Airlines with a connecting flight booked to Albuquerque. Flight to Albuquerque cancelled and they've put us up in a crappy Comfort Inn until a United flight in the morning. Last feckin' time (and first) I fly AA :Arghh:
After a difficult 2 months with a very ill sister who is on the mend and my own viral pnuemonia a few weeks ago, I'm sitting in a very nice apartment in Barcelona with my girl friend and her daughter drinking a glass of cold Estrella and discussing the choices for dinner. I can feel the stress washing away and I am beginning to get excited about Friday. ACDC in concert in the Olympic Stadium. Good friends, great location, fantastic food and a bit of head banging thrown in. It doesn't get much better than this . Andy
m25 m3 m27 to Bournemouth. Out on da piss tonight with best mate and collecting the curry he owes me for winning our annual footie bet.
Working in Bristol today, cold a little better. Office was almost empty. Gave up trying to persuade someone that her point of contact list should be the same as her outlook contact list. She can't work out why people are not responding to information she sends out (using a very incomplete and inaccurate contact list in outlook). Melvin managed to get two tickets for Twickenham on Saturday.
Was on the bike headed home early from work and thought, sod it, fired up the satnav and went to find this 'Box Hill' everyone on here talks about. It was an hour there and an hour back, and my verdict... What a load of shit. Traffic, 30mph, 40mph, more traffic. There's nicer roads in East Sussex & Kent.
I'm a London commuter, filtering isn't an issue. Maybe I just went a crap route. Next time people in the know are heading down, I'll have to meet up. Since moving over from Essex, I've lost access to my old haunts. Slowly picking up some new nice roads but it's not the same as blasting down some twisties with other bikes.
