I had a crappy day at work and decided when I got home to fit the new clutch slave cylinder that I bought from Avanti. I'm glad I remembered how much I struggled fitting an Oberon slave to my 999 - if I hadn't, I may have given up tonight. It was such a faff getting the new slave to work. Not the fault of the slave, I hasten to mention. I just suck at fitting stuff that has hydraulics that require bleeding. Well, the job took three times as long to do as it would for someone competent but I now have a 750Sport ie with a very civilised clutch action (and cheaper than an Oberon, too ) Hungry now and the time and energy I had left to go shopping was spent in the garage. I will go foraging for scraps now.
Out of cheese, out of cereal. Two pieces of bread left so I could have skinheads-on-the-raft, I guess. Actually, I have a ready meal left - chow mein - which is now in the oven. I'm currently defrosting the fridge-freezer ... might as well as there's fuck-all in there.
I have spent much of the day trying to understand Google Adwords Editor. A few hours in and I now understand a lot more than I did. It's looking increasingly good.
having had plenty of time to study the species at The Margate Meltdown I am now well-up to speed with what a 'hipster' looks like @figaro

Got up late, had a bite of breakfast then out to the metro. Went to the Placa Espanya and had a wonder around the roof terrace of the Arenas which used to be the bull ring until Barcelona band that as a sport. Fabulous 360 degree view of Barcelona on a clear warm day. Then went up to the museum of art but decided €36 was a bit much for culture so walked up to the Olympic Stadium and watched them set up the stage for Friday. Took the cable car to Barcelonetta and strolled along the promonade until we got to a familiar restaurent. Thinly sliced deep fried aubergene drizzled with honey, baby squid in garlic and a mahoosive pot of mussels all washed down with ice cold beer. Not to everyone's taste I know but we loved it. Horrible sticky chocolate puddings for afters and a strong black coffee. Took the bus then the Metro back to the apartment. Carole's Fitbit says we walked 13.8 kilometers - no wonder my feet are sore. El Japonese tonight which is a fantastic mix of what the Spanish think Sushi should be. Tomorrow is another day for more food and beer . Andy
Today started with a meeting in Sheffield until 1300. Followed by 2 emergency calls. First in Bristol and just arrived at the second in South molton. If everything goes well I should walk in the door by 3am
Made a few more Earth leads up due to stock getting low and been promised a response on spec and pricing for the rather special 999 full kits by close of business today - no e-mail as yet tum te tum te tum
