So after putting up with my somewhat ragged xtype for a year i decided i wanted something a bit nicer and as i only do 12 miles a day to and from work mpg isn't a massive problem. Ive always been an M3 fan and love the rs4 but never really looked much into the c63 merc. well it didn't take much looking before i test drove and put the deposit down on this. It is incredible! and by far the fastest thing i've ever driven on top of that i'm yet to have anyone come flying past me well apart from a lambo but that's slightly understandable. Whats funny is the amount of Astras and 320 bmws that think they have a chance. I mean i look and on the grand scale of things am very young so i expect most think its just a 2 or 2.5 petrol but they do try. One thing that does get me is the amount of people that see the car, look at it then glare or give me some sort of shitty look as i step out. I also get this on the bike, any one else in the same shoes?
Yep. I'm a farmer and by my own admission I look stupid when I get out of a BMW 760Li with my wellies on! :Woot:
I'm 40+ drive a CMax (with family) and Auris to work. Only looks I get is when the boy slings a hunk of shit out at the Merc sat next to us in the traffic.
Got to be some of the best replies to a thread ha ha. yeh i gave it a go before getting the merc and it just wasn't as exciting
I occasionally used to use my dad's jag when I was 19 when I went to rollers in Milton Keynes if there were five of us, as it was less of a squeeze than my volvo 3 series. The looks I would get in the petrol station filling up a jaguar with a baseball cap, jogging bottoms and bleached hair re defined the meaning of hate as withered old men in donkey jackets filled up their rusty astras.
I get the looks when I get out of my Peugeot Partner van. They look like they are saying ' you're too cool for that, you should be driving a c63 Merc. OGR
