  2. Just got back from the Olympic Stadium, it's 2 am here. The girls are very tired and feel pretty rotten but we enjoyed the concert immensely and they are really pleased they made the effort. 2 good hours of the best ACDC tracks going. Seats were way up in the gods with a great view and far enough away to hear the music and my word can they bang it out - absolutely bloody fabulous. Sad bit is the flight home is only 12 hours away. Took my first selfy which I'll try and post when we get home as I know it didn't happen without photographic evidence :). Andy

  5. Thank you Phil:),it is so daunting as I always tend to look on the black side of things,but as I only got married a month before I was diagnosed,I have too many plans and holidays ahead!!

  13. Took the 899 for it's annual service at Ducati Manchester this morning. Came home and jet washed the decking. Went out for a short blast on the Scrambler with @bettes and @chrisw .

    Apart from the bit in the middle it's been a good day :)

  14. Perhaps stating the obvious, but the duke feels so different to the CBR or Benelli to ride. It's amazing how three bikes which appear similar to the casual observer can be so different. [​IMG]

  16. Had a couple of hours on the 848 and can't stop smiling:)
    Piri piri chicken in the oven and smelling great..just switched from scrumpy to red wine..
    Pretty good day me finks!o_O

  17. Sat watching TV whilst nursing a torn muscle in my side/back.
    I looked outside from time to time to make sure it was still a decent biking weather out there. I'm not bitter.

    Pasta heating up on the stove, so it's not all bad.
