Hello I am a newbie who has only just collected today my lovely gorgeous 748e! Rode it home approx 40 miles - a little different to my ZX6 Ninja, really loved it! Just wondered if anyone could recommend some decent cans? are Termignoni the best? Any ideas of the best/cheapest place to buy a set? Any help gratefully received and apologies for my ignorance on this. Mark
Termis are the ones most go for........And generally pay more for.I wouldnt say theres much between them to be honest.Some have slightly better welds,thats about it.Ive got arrow cans on mine,it didnt really matter to me what they were,it just happened to be them that turned up on fleabay first/at the right price.Im happy enough with them.
Sil Motor' are nice if you can find them at the right money (which you probably won't) and are built in the same factory as Termi's apparently. I'd have a pair of Ti ones in a heartbeat ... I mean, yum! Carbon or Ti Termi's are fine for us mere paupers tho ...
If i go down the carbon Termi route what's the best size 50mm?? looks like an easy job to fit them? just a spring? - might be wrong here just guessing! Also do they make much of an improvement in performance or are they just for the ears?
Hi Pidge Looks like you've just bought my mate John's 748. (Little Geordie fella from Northampton?) If so. You've got a tidy little bike there. He's always pampered it and is a very steady rider.
