  1. Check if the system fits, not sure it's the same

  3. I'm sure it does as my system was originally fitted to a Corse, the Ecu will just need to be reflashed.

  4. That looks stunning mate!

  5. I believe they are exactly the same system fits the 848, the Evo & Evo Corse editions, the Evo's also had a slight hp increase over the stock 848

  7. Have you had the ECU done? and I don't mean the std race ECU that comes with system. I had custom map put on mine certainly makes a difference to fuel economy, I was only getting 90 mile tank range from full to yellow light now getting 115 mikes when ridden progressively and quite a bit more when ridden easy

  8. The ecu came with the system which is a DP one, who did the mapping for you?

  9. Why change it yours has most of it anyway? Dtc is not needed, at all,and the DQS is crap compared to a proper one like HM.

  10. Because he can!

  12. I know there were differences in the cans between std 848 then evo, and I thought the up pipe thru the swingarm may have been different but not certain

  13. I think the only difference in the cans was the style changed from oval to slash cut.

  14. The welds where you connect the cans to the system are defo dfferent

  15. I've moved full systems from non-evo to evo and even on to 1098 without probs.
The 1198 has different headers and wont fit.

  16. I'm fully standard. So you remapped and changed pipes? Is the bike just quicker throughout or rev higher. Standard is all I know.
Bike looks good. You obviously look after it.

  17. Custom map is all about getting fuel and air mix spot on.
I gained 500 revs above stock and a bit more power too :)

  18. Is there a down side? I know engines come with reliability in mind, so is there any risk?

  19. I am not aware of any risk the power gain is a few hp not like big bore kits that give you 30 hp +

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  20. I spoke to an engineering academic and he kind of supported the manufacturing side saying they spend millions developing engines and its not good to mess with them. Emissions and that I suppose are important to enable the bikes to be sold.
