Ducati 1198r

I thought all the 1198r's here were the corse edition.....but that is just what i thought was the case....I could be wrong tho.

 

There were only seventy 1198R Corse Special Edition made for worldwide distribution so I wouldn`t think many made there way to Britain.
I believe there are now a lot fewer intact nowadays because of racing pedigree, so its an extremely rare bike indeed!

 

I expect Exige has got one in the living room.

 

There was one on ebay a few weeks back with something like 1500 miles on it.

The seller, from London, wanted something in the region of £35k!!

 

Using 'how many left' there were 4 registered but now 3 and all are the R Corse

 

I don't think many came to UK that year maybe half a dozen.Sounds nice but better if it had a akrapovic evo on there.

 

Was there a large production run of the 1198s?

 

Yep... There are a few knocking about. I was looking for a 1198R Corse a couple of years back. Rare as rocking horse shit, only ones I found were in the U.S. for daft money. Gave up and got a 1098R. Ace bike.
