1200 Muttley 1200 - Warped Discs?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by JamieD, Jun 3, 2015.

  1. Just before I had the bike serviced last month, I noticed a slight judder in the front brakes but it was so negligible that I didn't mention it at the time.

Having done a number of miles since then, there is a definite warping in one or both discs. I've emailed the dealer as the bike is still under warranty.

Just wondered if anyone else had had this occur? 2013 Muttley with just shy of 10k miles.

    Cheers

  2. I had mine on a 2013 replaced as they had warped. Just get them to check the run out as it should be easy for them to spot.

  4. Also had mine replaced under warranty, on 2014 MTS. Snells said they were in tolerance but still got them replaced. I believe it is quite a common occurrence.

  11. Just about to have mine replaced, are the new one's better made or do they just stick the same on?

  12. Just picked up on this having got an MoT on my girlfriend's Diavel. Front brake balance was off and the mechanic pointed his finger at seized bobbins on the semi floaters. If true, the disc could be off true, no pun intended. My job tomorrow and I will also check my Multistrada. Andy
