  1. I think the message here is whatever you put on your bike to protect it, you should tell your dealer that you only wash it with Car Shampoo with a bucket and sponge, rinse it with clean water, dry it with a towel and keep it indoors (& don't even have salt on your chips)

BTW, I have used it on lots of bikes and can't recall it ever having caused corrosion, but what do I know?

  2. On my KTM its almost the only product I use after washing. I use PTFE to expel water from nooks and crannies then spray ACF50 directly onto all metal fasteners and moving parts. Then I apply it to a cloth like polish and use it on the wheels, engine, forks, paintwork, plastic trim, levers and handlebar controls. Even coolant hoses and cables. I've found it better than any specific plastic trim shine. Everywhere really except mirrors, screen and clocks, which I clean with Wurth helmet and visor foam. Miles better than glass cleaner. And obviously avoid brakes and the seat. Though on a cloth again it brings up the calipers nicely
In winter whether the bike's being ridden or laid up I'll spray it directly on more liberally and wipe off the excess. I don't do that at this time of year because I don't think its necessary to lay it on that thick to prevent corrosion and the residue attracts dust. There's no point using wax polish on the KTM because the paint is matt black and it makes no difference.
I do more or less the same with the Ducati except the red bits get Auto Glym polish. The Duc has some carbon parts and carbon/titanium Termis and ACF50 on a cloth brings these up lovely. It removes all smears from titanium.
    Excellent stuff.

  3. Muck off will wreck your bike, ACF will protect it under an increasing layer of filth

  4. Agreed, I was given a 5 ltr can of Muck off, it ruined alloy parts of my off roader (it was a rat bike anyway) so i used it on the alloys of the car, I would not use it on my bike!
