So far this morning I have been back and forth to the garage to re-set the trip switches on the fuse box about 8 times. The electricity was off when I woke at 4.45am and I've been re-setting it ever since. However I think I've isolated the problem area and I've already arranged for BG's electrician to come out to sort it under our insurance policy. Friggin' nuisance it is.
wake up, time to die!. me. i have got to ride the bike to work this morning and the sun is still shinning. nightmare.
Lost my sister's bloody corn snake. Made sure it was locked up before I left her maisonette yesterday and found the thing had forced a zip overnight and scarpered. It's still in the house but no idea where. Andy
Been learning sage, and LED lighting. Sage seems complicated but is actually simple, LED lighting seems simple, but is complicated!
Driven all the way to M&S in Macclesfield, twice. Got here at 5 this afternoon then realised I had the wrong equipment with me. 2 hr trip back to Halifax, 1:30 mins back to Macclesfield and all's good. Sat in the van having a tab and drinking coffee while waiting for the mold to get up to temp.
SWMBO dealt with two visits from British Gas - one to change some valve on the boiler and one to sort out the electrical problem we had this morning which seems to have been linked to the boiler Work was busy, as I've been tying up some loose ends before I head to the Lake District for a week with my sons, wives and grandchildren Came home and started packing. Just need to decide now if I go up on the bike whilst SWMBO takes the car. And if I do which bike do I take
Sampling my home-cured bacon. Not bad at all. Thought I might have overdone the juniper when mixing the cure because it smelled so strong, but actually it could have taken a lot more spicing. Quite salty but sweet at the same time. Tastes great and a lovely texture. It was a doddle to do. Don't think I'll ever bother buying anaemic, watery supermarket bacon again. Slow job slicing a whole bacon joint with a knife though..:Bored:
