Can't do it now I'm afraid (and I'd cleaned the bike specially) - family illness requires attention. Have a good day.
Sorry to all the people that couldn't make it but if it's any consolation was not as good as last year through no fault of Ken alias G. Really good to catch up with everyone and finally put a face to Loveless (Tim) and Johnboy. Forgot to add, good to meet you Martin. Hopefully better pictures to follow
John Reynolds was there but wasn't getting mobbed. A few classic suzis popped in, a nice katana and a kettle amongst others. Good to meet some old friends and meet some more forum folk. Thanks to Ken for getting us together again. Cheers, Keith
Good to see some fine examples of the Super Sport. Thanks mcr998 for showing me such a pleasant route there and back.
The Sausage was heaving with Suzukis mainly, but also a fair showing of Ducatis. Great to meet up with old friends. The sun even shone for a few seconds. Enjoyable ride back - an amble through the Buckinghamshire countryside with @Chris - but the ride up not so much. That Buckingham to Aylesbury road is always a pleasure. Called in at the Ace Café on the way home, to find it heaving with Triumphs.
Enjoyed the ride down and back, great to see you all again. Here are a few pics.... although these don't do justice to the detail of a certain black example. So impressed with the coil mounting I want one too
what a great day almost made it on time but still earlier than last year and got to meet most that turned up even though we had another scenic detour lol finally got to put some faces to names and get to see some of the machines in the flesh so to speak even if they were not an ss (pete) yes sorry dakk I hadn't finished the oil cooler guard did anyone get any pics of the katana I saw it pull in but it had gone before I could get a good look well the weather was damp and miserable when I set off but soon dried off but was overcast most off the day but lo and behold sunshine as I was about 30 miles from home but all in all 328 miles of a fun ride and my mate had the idea to drop in at Silverstone race track on the way back just because we had not been there before lol
great day and good to catch up with people I meet last year and meet a few new people this year also good to catch up with Martin who was at the first gathering of the clan back in the ducatisti days
Likewise Ken, good to catch up and nice to see the pipes still on and being well used. On the plus side it looks as if the WSSOC has gained a new member @corrosio non forsit - welcome aboard Paul.
