The tail piece is a race bodywork kit from a BMW 1000ss we are going to cut it to line up better with the tank and also take about 5 cm off the back. We will also add a single sided exhaust. The subframe was fabricated from 4130 chromoly tubing from TW metals and the thinner bracing from a bike frame made of the same material. Currently fabricating some velocity stacks. Next steps are fabricate exhaust for a single sided silencer, source a headlight, delug frame and relocate electrics.
As a consequence of the build I have lots of bits for sale: Ducati performance remus exhausts in carbon VGC OE exhausts mint condition Rear footrests and hangers Rear light assembly Indicators front and back All Fairing panels in senna grey VGC apart from nose fairing Headlight VGC One piece seat and tail piece in senna grey not sure how it fits original seat and undertray PM me if interested and make me an offer all must go
junked the exhaust? you mean 2 into 1 or? I would love to get rid of the silencers, they are so heavy. But not the headers, just replaced them with a full system from MADASL(stainless and bigger bore) seat is racing seat for a Honda CBR1000 that was destined for my SV650 originally.
hi i bought a mivv ghibli silencer for 2 into 1. will fabricate the headers to make it fit...my 18 year old nephew is doing this hes a bit of a genius with metal.
your seat lines up really well with the tank..we still need to cut ours we junked the airbox too so will be turning some velocity stacks too
rearsets are made from 2 different ones: backplate for a RSV Mille (1st Gen) , I think Harris. and the top section from Gilles, left over from my SV650. I did not like the rear brake master cylinder set up, so I started with spare parts that were laying around in my garage. works well
Just the standard ducati. Bike was Senna grey 2000 model ie with red wheels. Just trying to decide on a new colour.
