  1. Not sure if this isn the right section, but if it isn't then the mods can move it

Quite regulularly this site kind of freezes for me. And it just happens to be this site as I then check on other sites at the same time and they dont have the same issues.

    What sometimes happens is:

    a. The cursor does doesnt move to where you click it.(and for info its just done it now!)
    b. The curser automatically jumps somewhere else
    c. or the curser jumps when you are in the middle of a word to the next line
    d. or it just freezes
    e. or it doesnt recognise when I press the return button and want to start another line (like just now on when trying to type this)

To type this post has taken me 20 mins cos of all of these problems. And it's stll doing

    it!!

    See.....................

  2. Rob usually picks this sort of thing up in the feedback section quicker.....

But he'll need more info like the OS you run and the browser you use tho.

  3. Whoosh! Right over my head

Or do you mean is it windows 7 etc?

And the browser I use is one called SlimBrowser which is based on IE.

  4. Try Firefox as your browser.....

  5. Now using Firefox. I'll see how I get on.

  6. I always find that kind of thing is because of the adverts on the page using Flash.
You might want to check that you have the latest version of Flash installed, as well as any updates for your web browser.

  7. Firefox seems to work better but whenever I close it down it never remembers I've been logged on and so I have to go through the whole rigmarole of logging back in. (I know it takes a gnats to do that but it's the principle I'm on about  )

  8. Isn't there just a tick box at the top? Next time you log in check the box and you should be remembered.

  9. There is...but firefox is very good at removing all cookies and web history on exit, which would remove the ducatiforum cookie.

There is a setting tab at the top of Firefox towards the right that lets you control it....

I'll have a look when I boot the pc.
