I have just fitted the DP racing seat. The seat seems ok much better grip than the standard(only been out on a 20min ride). It's doesn't seem to sit flush at the rear. It's raised slightly maybe 3mm above the fairing. Has anyone else had this issue?
Better grip ? I though whole point of racing seat was so you could slide ya arse from one side to the other easier ?
Mine didn't sit flush against the rear tail section on the 1199 either, I ended up drilling the holes on the monting plate (attached to the tank) a few mm larger which enables you to push the seat back a little more.
I see where your coming from. With the standard one your constantly sliding forward but you can move side to side better. Racing one no forward movement, I'll have to work out the side ways action. (Only been out once with it)
