Good evening all, I just stumbled across this 'ere forum and had to sign up. I own a 900FE and have done since December 2005. I purchased the Duke in the UK before riding her to Southern Spain where she enjoyed mucho fair weather riding for three or so years. De nada! Lived in Seville for 17 years. Probably go back in a few years time. Loved it. Used to go down to Calahonda nearly every other week.

I know Calahonda! The wife and I lived in Mijas Costa for a little while. My wife is from Malaga Cuidad originally. I have only visited Seville once and loved every minute of it. Lovely city. We took the open topped bus tour on our arrival and it was 37 degrees in the shade. Not the sharpest thing to do in hindsight! 17 years is a long time! Did you have the bike when you were there?

Haha. Small world! We used to go to mijas costa for our curries. There wasn't a curry place anywhere near Seville until a few years ago. That's the problem with Seville. The heat. Can drop as low as minus 2 or 3 in winter then 45 / 48 degrees in August. Still, a beautiful city. Wife's from there. Ian

Small world indeed Ian. Yes, I was very taken with Seville, as I am with Malaga city for that matter. They're the real deal. Marbella on the other hand I am quite happy to avoid! You mentioned you might be heading back that way at some point... Do you miss it?
Yes, sometimes I do miss it. Just can't beat the weather, food, beer & babes. Financially, I earn about 70% more here than I do over there but the wife misses it more and will only be a matter of a couple of years more, at most before she says F it, "we're going back. I don't really mind, either way. Ian
