I took my wife to a posh restaurant for our anniversary today. When the waiter came over to the table she declined to take a menu and said, "I'm not bothered what food you bring from the kitchen, I just want a nice, romantic meal for two." "Certainly madam", he replied as he turned to face me. "And what will sir be having?"
Well, I can bring my recent posts to a close. All of a sudden in the space of about 4 hours I have spoken to the new Adult Services key worker and the Care Provider and a new care package has been approved and is in place from Friday morning so I taxied my sister home this evening. Hoorah ! It's been a long 3 months but all the frustration, hard work and stress was worth it to see the change in my sister's state of mind. Still got a fair bit to do but in the fullness of time is fine. Centre Parcs for a few days next week and am I looking forward to it. Andy
Attempted (first tine ) to ride down Henstridge airfield, complete failure on my part. Try again next month
Had a dream I was showing a mate how far over bikes lean and dropped the bike smashing the plastics. Can't sleep now
Witnessed said attempt - don't worry no one was looking Martin and your mate had to win prize for the best sound Great evening
Can I just point out again I GOT MY KNEE DOWN FOR THE FIRST TIME ON THE 996 YESTERDAY!!! STILL BUZZING!!!!
I remember the first time I got my knee down, it was at Cadwell Park. I was talking to RedRuth after my session and was saying, "I don't understand it, why can't I get me knee down?" and pointed to my sliders. And then noticed that I had scraped them both. Without even bloody realising it It's great when you first realise you are getting your knee down, isn't it
not much chance getting yer kneed down up here. not many roundabouts in the highlands. :Cigar::smile:
Did it at will 15 yrs ago on FZR600R on any T junction but not done it in ages and first time on the Duc. It's a great feeling to hear the scrape.
