  1. Leaving Exeter at 3:30am on Sunday morning to get to Lands End in time for Breakfast :)

This isn't a Ducati-only trip but it is certainly a bit different!

Sign-up at Southwestbikers.com if you want to come :)

  2. That sounds interesting but unfortunately im in Glasgow this weekend.

  3. It shouldn't take much more than a couple of hours to get to Lands End from Exeter, so that's a jolly early breakfast...
Or are there Harleys tagging along...

  4. All sorts of bikes will be going, plus fuel and fag breaks etc. Should be there for 6:30 or 7 at the latest :)

  5. Well you should certainly beat the changeover-day traffic and if you can lever yourself out of bed at that time of morning it should be a glorious ride over Bodmin Moor etc with the rising sun in your mirrors.
Too early for me and I've got visitors for the weekend but have a wonderful time

  6. Bet you are popular with the neighbours

  7. I was chatting to someone about that on the SWB run on Sunday. I really like the idea of riding the sun up to Lands End, but for me it would mean setting the alarm for 1:30 am...

  8. Or not bothering going to bed...

  9. Yep - I'll either be staying up or getting to bed early and setting the alarm for 2am for the trip from Taunton to the Exeter meet-up point

  10. Omg.
I live in a Exeter and it's too early for me.
You guys must be young, foolish or both ... ;)

  11. bit to early for me chaps but have fun

  12. Hope you have a great run out. Bit far for me but sadly still recovering from dislocating my middle finger, left hand, so still no riding for a week or two :(. Andy

  13. Ouch - how'd you do that Andy?

  14. Love to come but my left arm is still buggered after my car accident.

  15. Walking a 6ft fridge freezer along the path from the front door to the kerb so the man from the council coming to pick it up didn't have to. No idea how it happened only that it was extremely painful and for the second time in my life I was able to answer the triage nurse when asked about pain on a scale of 1 to 10 with "I thru up". Still a lot better now and I can nearly make a fist so progress is being made. Andy

  16. would love to Join, But without having a Fuel delivery truck following me or constant fuel stops it would be a Mission - I must have a leaky tank on the Panigale

  17. This sounds awesome however the monster was sold last week and I dont pick up the multi till friday the 3rd, life is dull without a bike :(

  18. I dislocated my right hand ring finger whilst out green Laning 7 weeks ago, a bloke with me almost passed out when I toke my glove off and he saw it. I popped it back in and carried on. 7 weeks late and it's still swollen and I can't straighten my finger.

  19. I need fuel every 80-100 miles on my D16. It's perfectly doable.

In a nutshell, Lands End destination then off to Penzance for breakfast. Various pickups along the way down for folk in Devon and Cornwall

The ride is steady, not spirited and we use a drop off system and TEC for this ride - normally we have around 25-30 bikes. We normally get to Lands End around 6am and then off to Penzance where there is a cafe that opens up early for us and the food is pretty damn good. Route back home is peppered with stops for coffee, ice creams and cake :)

  20. I recommend a stop at Philps in Hayle for Pasties :)
