Been riding a very long time , but am absolutely stunned by my Multistrada . Any and all tips are very very welcome . Hello and thanks , Ian .
Don't get it wet or store it anywhere damp if you want the tank to stay the same size as when you bought it.
Obviously that's worst case scenario. I rode it all year round and wasn't very good at washing it. Also it was stored in a damp metal shed. Fantastic bike to ride and I would definitely buy another and store it in a vac bag over the winter.
Have a bubble and a dryish garage , Hopefully that will do . Am still appalled at the quality of the finish .
A lot of what I've shown on the engine would be salt damage. Saying that though Ducati aren't renowned for their engine paint. You've bought a top, real road machine, that will embaress a lot of sports bikes in the corners. Grunty engine, wide bars and superb handling make it a great bike to ride.
Always have a few bikes knocking about . Have a naked Wing , a Softail and have just sold a BMW K100 and an 1100 Kwak but this bike has more character than I would have believed .
