  9. Honestly don't think it'd cost much to get done, looking at it you'd only need one new badge Decal for the front and the mudguard, oh and decals for the rear part of the underseat.

Mudguard and underseat will simply just be a vinyl cut and easy to replicate as I've done that all before and have the font, you just supply them to the painter and he clear coats over them, the front nose could just be a genuine badge reorder if need be or if you're lucky that badge might just pop off.

So panels off, remove fixings/brackets etc, pop off badge (if possible) and drop panels and replacement decals to a painters and pick your yellow. I reckon its a £300 - £500max job at best, easy turnaround job and id bet they'd do it within a week easy

  10. Wow, that looks really good, the red frame clashes badly with the yellow but somehow it works. Perhaps the BMW m3 greenish/yellow metallic would work.

  11. Reminds me of Bumblebee.

  12. It's starting to go that way in pic 4 & 8 so I could adjust it slightly more towards green in the spectrum but still leaving it yellow if that makes sense.

Tbh I quite think the yellow and red clash sets it off, to me that's half the point and was surprised how nice it looks, it actually leaves the original red looking a bit bland but then again we all have different tastes.

I think part of the bikes main design aspect is the frame and it gets lost red on red.

  13. Nice..... OK OK do me in yellow pealse I just wana see if it's a option.

  14. I think you are right red on red loses the effect, that's why the red frame works so well on the White DVT and the PPeak.
What software are you using, seems to work well.

  15. +1 on what software as I have yet to find one fit a Mac worth using that does it cost the earth

  16. As already said sounds like rage designs.Well worth it as they did a top job on my fuel tank and my mates 1198 sps bayliss rep.The black and white multi looks really nice and the latest pikes peak scheme but for me the yellow looks better with white like those pope bikes.

  17. Pixelmator for Mac, it's only about £25 and whilst not quite as good as photoshop it's still not far off considering its a fraction of the cost, I'm just missing a few tools I used to use but it seems that I've gained a few nice additions which come in handy.

  18. My GSXR was painted by Dream Machine, decent job but for £1,300 I'd have been pointing out details if the bike had been mine when it was painted...

  19. I use GIMP (the software not the slave). They do a Mac version (originally Linux) and it's freeware, open source built by the people that use it. Brilliant resources online due to the bundles of people that use it.
