  6. I spent the day on a refresher training with Unity Support Riders (USRs) Unity Support Riders | Supporting 2 wheeled events in the South East

They are ten this year having been started out of the Unity Ride to and in London which followed the terrorist attacks on July 7th 2005

If anyone is interested they are looking for advanced qualified riders. Full training is provided as is a mentoring programme.

  7. Done just short of 500 miles today to visit my mother in hospital. Multi performed marvellously, however I have a gripe! Why is most of the M1 and A1M a 50 mph limit.

I accept that when people are working on it, 50 is the limit but not a soul working on it today and why do some car drivers fail to indicate and just pull out especially in the rain...tossers....rant over

  8. Jim, I have to drive up / down the M1, A1, M62, M6 a few times every week and I totally agree with you. It is nearly a miracle to catch someone working on any of these motorways! The couple of times in over a year and a half I have seen workmen there, they've been stood about in a group chatting away.

  9. Does my head in. I drive 30,000 miles a year, granted its not on motorways other than the M42 n one junction up on the M5 and its the same everywhere. Sneaky bast@@@s even turn the average cameras around on the M1 to get the rear number plate.

  10. Arrived home, in time to get back to work. Crap

  11. Having a cheese and ham toastie and latte
Just finished work and off for a couple of days just in time for the sun :)

  12. Had an easy'ish morning in the office then went to Manchester for a meeting. Blimey it's warm out there.

This evening I might just play out for a bit and also try out the Kreiga tailpacks on the Scrambler.

  13. Arrived at Centre Parcs, found the cabin and opened a beer :). Weather is great so I'm watching everyone lark about in the pool. Lasagne for tea and hopefully the TsingTao will be cold for later. Got 6 x 660ml for £8 so it seemed churlish not to. Have fun everybody, I know I'm going to :upyeah:. Andy

  14. How old is your tail pack. They do a new, neater strap now and you can order it separately for you old type of strap.

Unfortunately I sold my R1 with the frame straps still connected (they're that much neater) so I need to order some myself.

  15. Today I is mostly packing for a weeks windsurfing holiday in Greece. I've bought an extra 100 euros cos I is confident of being to be able to buy my own private island at a knock down price.

    I loves a bargain, does I .

  16. Hmmm I had to order new connection straps for the 899. Think I'll need to check for the Scrambler.

  17. Longleat ?
Go for a walk up Cley Hill, nice views.

  18. New style have silver metal hooks and don't leave the plastic connectors dangling on the bike.

  19. I've already got those, but I've just seen how to fix them from that link. Thanks :upyeah:
