So what have you done today..?

  1. So far I've run stepsons girlfriend to work and took a mate over to his job after he stayed over last night, been up since 5.30 after a crap nights sleep, looking forward to a nap this afternoon!

  2. Waiting on a phonecall for an interview...

May venture out to the garage, dig out the Four from beneath locks and covers, drive downtown with the petrol tank and get some petrol.

See if it will start? No BS noise restrictions for pre-1983 bikes and this one is VOCAL.

  3. Hope you get the call and the job!

  4. Cheers! There is a limit to the amount of mooching around you can do without spending any money/petrol...

  5. Good luck fingers and toes crossed
    :)

I'm day off today and tomorrow so I started my day having coffee and toast on way home from school :)
    Chores now :-(

  6. http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f21/1978-cafe-yoshimura-honda-400-4-sale-yes-470-four-4719/

£2650 is apparently the cost of my right arm & leg... :frown: A BEAUTIFUL motorcycle, it holds me as spellbound now as it did through the bikeshop window back in 1990, an object of lust and desire.

For 22 years she has been there, all yellow & chromed steel, nothing short of a Divine Entity?

"I used to have one of these!"

"I've still got mine!" " I see it most days!" :upyeah:

I can only hope I will one day forgive myself for what I am about to do.

  7. So far, been to work and done stock check/ordering. Now waiting for new bike to arrive, and hoping to get Bimota mot'd, then back to work. Oh and torturing myself by checking eBay to see if Bimota has reached its reserve yet (£900 short, just under 45 hours to go)

  8. What's the new machine?

  9. In the office again. Banging my head against a brick wall and losing the will to live :S

  10. Diavel Carbon Red

  11. Thought it'd make a nice change to my sports bikes (plus can take misses on the back). Took one for a test ride and once got over the initial shock of jumping off sports bike onto muscle bike/cruiser, just laughed myself stupid. Just need a Judge Dredd style crash helmet

  12. I sat on one at Ducati Manchester at the weekend and I was impressed at the low seat and how light it felt. And I have to say I love the look!

  13. Wasn't sure when I first saw one, but it's grown on me. It's a definite like it or hate it bike it seems judging by some of the feedback I've received elsewhere on this forum. May go for the touring seat which raises height by about 2inches

  14. It's arrived, but sadly only about ten minutes before I have to go to work. Think I'll take it to work with me.

  15. Today I went to see the Desmosedici they have in at Riders. Had a good look, and a good listen - awesome!

  16. Dug my Four it out of the garage for a dust-down & pics to sell it, has'nt run since Feb this year?

Emptied the carbs and tank before I laid it up - Battery went back in, took the tank off & put it in the boot, drove down the garage for 5 litres of Super-unleaded :) Tank back on, span the engine over with the ignition off three times to get the oil pressure up... ignition back on and it started first push!

    Cheeky vid.

  18. Is that the bike shaking or are you desperate for a drink?

  19. On Saturday I went to the seaside at Wittering. An appropriate venue, as I went with a couple of old friends and we didn't stop wittering all bloody day. Actually swum in the sea for the first time in a couple of years - it was superb!

Just a brilliant day from get up to bed time. Sunday and Monday weren't bad either.
