The idea of the rework to my bike was originally to just add the 1098 swinger and suspension. The output and reliability of the 848evo motor was never and issue for me. Discussions about big bike, little bike and rider skill are very dull and done to death. I had called a breaker after a rear wheel for the 1098 swinger and got in to a conversation about the engine. Deal was done on a buy now "as seen" as he couldn't run the bike as the screen had been damaged. No hard feelings other than the time I put in, but that was my choice and I like to put these things down as a learning experience. "risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings"
I thought this was just a milk price protest but no.....You can clearly see @Nelson in the crowd 'loosing a couple of pounds'
Thought I'd bring this ole tale to a fitting end. Trusty bike has just been sold. Having just completed another project, I desperately needed the space. This bike has been great! We have traveled to Spain together 3 times, I first got my knee down on this bike on my (cough) birthday. She has gone upt north with a very nice chap from Preston. (@916ducati0 Can you tell cuz he'll need to fit a fan if he's planning to use her on the road...) Bye bye.....
