  2. For about the last 5 years every Christmas and birthday, fathers day and Valentine I have requested Paul Simon Graceland from wifey and have never received it. No biggie so about 2 months ago I bought myself a copy off eBay and have been singing along happily to myself in the car.

    Last night driving down the M27 listening to Absolute on came "you can call me Al", the wife bursts into song and we have a really fun sing along.

    When it finished she exclaimed with great excitement "that's a true classic, love that song, I remember that album, we should get it!"

    I then had a playful rant reminding her about ever request I have made for said album and how good it is and the documentaries made by Sky Arts on it she has refused to let me watch, etc, etc.

    "Oh, thats the album" she says, "if I'd have known it was that I'd have bought it years ago, I thought it was your normal crap you listen too".

  9. I went to see my mum up north but had to come away early as I was in pain. Drove the couple of hours home in agony, and as soon as I got in I sterilised a needle and popped it.

    An antiseptic mouthwash, some Bonjella, a couple of paracetamol and I now feel a million dollars:upyeah:

  11. I had a little play in my new shed and fixed a couple of bits of ally plate to the floor.Progress quite slow,but we are getting there/somewhere.
    Hopefully the old bike will be shifted into here from the garage in the not to distant future.:upyeah:

  19. not tonight tho, up early and oot on the bike. where i will go nobody knows. maybe ullapool maybe aberdeen maybe kilmalcolm maybe just down to the shops the 848 aint seen enough miles this year.
