Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a new Panigale 1199 abs . I've done a quote on a comparison site but not very happy. 42 3 yes ncd Can you recommend any Ducati friendly insurers that won't want what I class as extortionate. Cheers
I'm just re doing mine, I will call ducati insurance but I will be shocked if it's competitive, ps try bennets but go direct because the price it gave me on a comparison site was £150 more
Given Bennetts' reputation on every bike forum in the land, for many years now, I'm honestly bewildered that they're still in business.
52. 9yrs ncd 2 accidents in 5 yrs both in vans not really my fault but still got stung !!! £235.00 with Rac which is really Devitts. Give them a try.
Ps I was insured with Ducati insurance the last 2 yrs but they couldn't get near on the Pani !!! Ps they trade as Wicked Quotes too !
Cobbett - I agree entirely. The ironic thing is how they go on about their great customer service in their adverts...
I searched for ducati insurance and this thread came up. Coming up to my renewal for my panigale. This year I was with devitts, before that it was wicked quotes and before that mce etc. Who do you guys use? Always go through comparison websites but then the guy at the dealer said that premiums are usually more through them.
just switched to ducati insurance after 9 years with mce. mce taking a piss with their premiums. just going up and up regardless off points coming off and accidents and theft coming off due to 5 year rule. do not get quote from ducati insurance site, call them. they are surprisingly competitive
I agree, I just switched to Ducati Insurance from being with MCE for several years. I'm 41, 6 years ncd and 6 points still being declared cost me £600 for the 1199S, 1098S and 1000ss. But as said above ring for quotes as they take other things into consideration such as riding history and personal details that on line quotation systems don't account for.
As above i called Ducati Insurance and got a very good deal after the hassle i had with an other company with agreed value/10yrs no claims vanishing because of a stupid 2yr rule. Hope its a good deal next year with them.
