    [TD="class: alt1, bgcolor: #FFFFFF"]Hi folks,

    Am getting some carbon fairings painted up for my 748R.

    I wanted to get some CLEAR vinyl for the full nosecone and then fairing leading edges.

    I recall seeing threads on forums about specific 748/996/998 stuff but can't find those threads or remember the name of the product

    I'm aware of the helicopter tape for smaller areas but want the specific pre-cut stuff for the nosecone.

    Does anyone have a name or experience they can share please?

    Many thanks, Guy

  4. Venture Sheild was fitted to my 1098 Tricolore by the previous owner , seem's to have worked good ...

  5. I met Guy - the Ventureshield person down here - yesterday. A very good 'guy'. They even have kits for my new 'van' so I'll be getting the jousting scratches on my mirrors painted over and some VS over them.

    And the little race bike when it comes back!

  6. Just nip down to your local sign writer place and get a big sheet of clear vinyl for around 5-£10, plenty to do a bike may even get two done. Approx 600mmx1000mm.

  7. Venturesheild is the dog's nads, but it's best to have it applied by someoone with experience. The nose cone on my 848 was challenging to say the least as you need to stretch and deform it around the curves. But once fitted, it's very resilient.

  8. Panels came back from painting by my brother last night so will be having a go with the Ventureshield installation tomorrow. "I May be Some Time" :)
