  13. hello & welcome. great bike. :upyeah:

  14. Welcome Ashcash, how's business? :upyeah:

  15. Which 848? I would say they are geared too long as standard, a 14t sprocket is a good improvement as is an Oberon clutch slave cylinder. Combined they make the bike a heap more useable at slow speeds. I made the mistake of spending money on remaps and pipes for mine, which while making a big improvement, I would have been better spending the money on suspension setup. So.. Yeah, that's my advice... from a guy who doesn't own his 848 any more :-(

  16. Hello Flash
Get yourself a Superpole seat will stop your nuts sliding into the tank :upyeah:

  17. true that, but if you don't like that one, there is also the neoprene version which I found made a big difference to the grip on the seat. While we are at it, go steady in the wet if it has standard footpegs, they aren't known to be the grippiest.

  18. Cheers all. My first problem is oil stain on the underneath of the tail pipe from the chain. I have a red 2009 model. Standard at the moment apart from some carbon

  19. went for my first ride in the dry, you are right I was slipping around on the seat and I am struggling with gear selection. I have never had a twin before only 4 cyclinders that are so smooth. the experience of the ducati is strange. Any advice on gear selection???

  20. I had a history of inline 4's before my 848 (also my first twin). Never had an issue with gear selection. Is it false neutrals or what?
