Woke up to a persistent dripping tap in the bathroom so had to rummage around for a set of replacement taps that I knew I had somewhere. Didn't take too long so got into the garage eventually. Worked a sweat up and the 748 is now back together again after a new head gasket was required. Fired on the button and ran really sweetly. The recovering finger that got dislocated several weeks ago complained so one or two bits had me swearing but it's all worth it to hear the beast in full voice. Now just need to organise a track day. With a great deal of help from my son we managed to get my old bike into the shed. First time in over 3 years that 'She' has been moved. So nice to see the bike without dustcovers.Much to Mrs Mervyns amusement I managed to get on the bike and pretended to ride it and make the accompanying Brmm Brmm noises Bit of a stretch to the clip ons though At this point I decided enough was enough and it was time to sweet talk Mrs Mervyn about the must have bike I had spotted earlier.:Angelic: I have attached a picture of the old thing if anyone is interested.

I'm going through boxes and boxes of computer stuff for chucking out........ Brand new VGA, DVI and kettle plug cables......loads of them. Scart cables and splitters, DVI - VGA and vice versa adaptors...... Modems and other motherboard pc bits; routers and hubs, plus ethernet cables; broadband splitters; monitor power units etc........ All consigned to the junkyard........nearly all unused, apart from two failed monitors.......I can't believe how much the stuff there is......... Talk about a chuckaway society! The only useful things I found was an HDMI to HDMI cable, plus an HDMI toDVI adaptor.
Me and my top executive team ( pictured) have been extending ourselves for the benefit of all you tax payers who will be bailing Greece out, to make sure that the value of your euro continues to buy a consistent amount and quality of Mythos, a Keynote Greek beverage, usually consumed by the semi litre.... From what can we remember, we have no idea.....but our office had a reasonable view.....
Was out and about on the 999S. Working on confidence, chicken strips looking wispy now, not crispy One issue though - guess whose cars I saw out on my usual roads, yesterday and today ...? Yes, that's right. *Everyone's* cars. I saw everyone's cars, every single UK car there is, all of them on my favourite roads. Possibly half of Europe's cars, too. I saw more than 100 million cars on my rides yesterday and today. In places, the cars were stacked three deep and they were spread as far as the horizon in all directions. Fuck my arse, it was sphincter-bustingly chock-full of cars, all roads, all day, both days. The true paradox is, there were more cars on my favourite roads in Hants, Sussex and Surrey yesterday and today than there are atoms in the Universe. Yeah, I know! What about that?! Oh, and do not get me started on the fucking traffic. Rammed. FFS.

I feel like a 10yr old finding his dads copy of Razzel. I don't know quite know what that is or why I'm feeling such an impulse but I think I need to get my hands on one of these.
Elise is quite the Cosmopolitan, you know! Or he was once featured in Cosmopolitan. I forget which it is.
