  4. North Wales tomorrow as the weather looks like it should be pretty good....... !!

  5. How can you tell it's a "she"?

  6. Because she will require regular maintenance and take all his money!

Being an Italian woman "Bella Donna" can be feisty and high maintenance and will need lots of new shoes and expensive liquids to keep her happy...

  7. Nice one enjoy, mines coming soon.

  8. Looking good! I like the the lever-protector metal handrails, are they an option ?

  9. They're plastic and quite flimsy

  10. The lever "protectors" are rubbish to be quite candid. Either the DP ones which are mega £ or trusty BarkBusters.

  11. The whole knuckle guard/indicator set up is pretty fragile - take care when filtering 'cos all it takes is a little tap on the indicator part (the upper black section) to break its mounts in the silver knuckle guard....and they cost about £35.

  12. sorry to hijack thread..but... riding in the summer I have noticed that my brake reservoir is vibrating at high revs...maybe its just me getting old and senile but I swear the other side is more stable...

tried to tighten everything but no avail, that reservoir is shaking its little head like crazy at high revs (like about 100')...the right hand/indicator guard is definetly more vibey than the left.

anyway, started thinking about getting the barkbusters (so that I can zip the guard and resevoir to it) but worried they block the indicators ? anyone got pics or experience ?

  13. My Right Hand (throttle) side vibrates more than the left.

I get slight tingling in right - nothing in left. - I am for some reason sensitive to the vibration - same on last 2 bikes

FZ1 - filled handle bar with lead

VFR1200 - Fitted HEAVY bar end weights.

Need to do something similar to FZ1 on MTS.

  14. I knew it ! - I am not crazy (at least there are 2 of us so it can be certified as a disease now).

I am just worried the brake fluid bottle is going nuts and the fluid or bottle fails or something, I have had the bike since 2010 but you never know if its a new thing or not when it comes to ducati. I like the possible solutions, I am also toying with some kind of rubber tie (but that would be visible).

  15. How did you manage to get the bike early? I ordered mine in early June and have just been told that it will not arrive until mid september. Mine was supposed to be an early July build but apparently has been put back again...

  16. I ordered mine mid June, and was told it left the factory last Monday. Seems to be a bit of a lottery when they come.

  17. I think certain dealers probably order stock on spec, and should someone come in for a bike then they can offer a quick delivery.

Those that don't have anything on order are subjected to the normal lead time. That's my guess anyway:)

  18. Colour, options, model all play a factor

  19. Had my 15 s sport on order since January ,not a whisper not really to much of a problem I will have to put up with my faithfull 13 pikes for a bit longer

  20. Suggest someone has forgotten you. I ordered mid June and pretty much any soec bike was due by end Sept.
