nah, didnt even ask me to produce my licence. but he did ask at least twice if it was my bike. but i watched the video. and it was very clear it was me and my plate and my bike.

Back "in the day" before they could check online if you had insurance/mot/driving license, then if you got a tug from the old bill and didnt have those documents on you, they would give you a "producer" which was basically a bit of paper saying that you had to produce whichever said documents they wanted to check at a local cop shop within x number of days. If you didnt, then they would assume you didnt have valid insurance/mot/etc. and prosecute you. Now it automatically shows everything up on their computers so before they even get out of their car they know if you have everything you should legally have.
unmarked cars frighten me! You could be OK. I was let off a few years ago on my way to bikers world in coleshill. Opened the bike up and went straight past a BM 5 series copper car stripped up hiding down a cut out and I didnt even see him, I just flew past. I started to slow down to turn in to bikers world quick look in the mirrors and noticed the lights flashing and pulled over to let them past as I thought they were on the way to an emergency, then I saw a hand come out violently pointing/gesturing to pull into bikers world and I just thought "ohhhh shit!". Stopped knocked my engine off, took my helmet off and got off the bike then the copper shot out the car and come over and just gave me a bollocking, "do you know how effin fast you were going, do you think that's effin clever! We've got enough evidence to ban you and lock you up!" While he is having his rant I just kept quiet and was reflecting on my thoughts about life without a licence. After his rant, got the usual checks done, then he asked if I had been in trouble before to which I replied no, then he said "you know what its your lucky day, we're both bikers" pointing to the other copper in the 5 series "we all like to go fast but the speeds you were doing you dont do em on public roads you save that for the track. I dont want to see you and this bike again so clear off". I've never felt so much relief but at the same time embarrassment as it was a scorching Saturday and there were a fair few bikers around staring or with their noses pressed up against the glass! I pootled home without having a look round the shop as I felt like a utter dickhead.
I got pulled by traffic bike cop on the way to the cookstown races a couple years ago, turned off motorway and onto a roundabout, I don't know why but I just went around it slow and easy ,normally I would have knee on the deck, next thing I heard wailers and saw the police bike I pulled over to be told " there is a time and place to go fast and that was it but check your mirrors as you never even seen me "I was about to tell him its a 1098 and mirrors are crap but I kept mouth shut and he just rode off........I had been doing mph I wouldn't post on a forum..........the officers discretion slowed me down and helped more than a fine/ban.
The cops probably know making you sweat is a great lesson. I reckon you will be fine, but a lucky shit.

It is quite difficult though when you have a clear safe road in front of you on a bike that can safely do double the speed limit. I think alot of us show great restraint in only going over the national limit by 30 or 40 clicks! I need my bottom smacked.
