So when do you think you'll be putting the bike away for Winter?

  1. the way the weather has changed over the past few days here I'm think I'll have another 4 weeks, tops, before its goes into hibernation. :frown:

  3. I go into 'mod' and 'clean mode' in the winter, stripping things down and cleaning them. Got a bit of a list for my S4R to do this winter, starting with a tail chop!

  4. The bike will only go into hibernation when they grit the roads... Don't mind the cold at all. In fact, I enjoy winter rideouts.:smile:

  7. I quite like cold weather and as long as the road conditions are ok I`m happy to take a bike out. What usually stops me is that I have bad circulation and loose all feeling in my fingers. I`m having heated grips fitted to the monster today so hopefully no problems this year and no hibernation. I may even be able to wear reasonably thin gloves too which is a bonus.

  19. You've just reminded me of something I'd forgotten - Bugger

    I've taken the split FCR's off the SS and put the Mikunis back on - now when the weather turns colder I'll be able to 'enjoy' the thrill of dropping cylinders through icing !
