  1. i am very tempted is there a noise limit?? as the 1198 is much louder than the 748

  4. yeah very ture i do have the baffles, i suppose i could give the track bike a rest and take the 1198, only other problem is i might like the bigger bike to much and not use the 748 again!!

  8. What are the DUK days like for grouping? Im going in the beginner group and just wanted to know if other groups get full will they move down a group or 2?

  9. With experience of last year, yes and yes. There will be riders in your group who would be more comfortable in the intermediates and there will be genuine novices. Take the rough with the smooth and try and gauge your pace to get a bit of free track but expect to be overtaken - several times. Most are well behaved but some are not although you should be fine.   10. bazz as i said before silverstone is so wide, there loads of room to over take and be over taken so nobody should really be that close to you (in theory).

  17. Good luck with that.

    My track bike for a day at Silverstone. Pair of tyres: £320. I will use at least a rear so that would be £220 alone. Fuel for the day: £40. Extra diesel to take van instead of car for the 200 mile round trip : £25. The ability to rag someone elses bike around track with all the tricks and toys with max 1k exposure even if I snap it in half : priceless :upyeah:

  19. Thanks for the info guys, just wondered what it would be like. not too worried as I'm just gonna stick to own pace and ability.

    Any of you are more than welcome to pop in web say hello and have a choci digestive I'll be with ducati cov :)
