Today I have strolled around Vienna visiting the Emperor's palace, the cathedral, and the national art gallery. Then at 8pm I took the Multistrada for a fun blast around the streets and the Ring. Vienna is full of superb buildings, elegantly designed, perfectly maintained, and immaculately presented. I have never seen so many cafes, restaurants, and bars - but mainly cafes - all of them packed with folk consuming coffee and cakes. Tomorrow I plan to visit Schonbrunn https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sch%C3%B6nbrunn_Palace

My plate fell off yesterday. Thought I heard a bit of clang (but it does that, since I removed the back mudguard) over some resurfacing in the local town. Noticed it was missing when I got home. Dammit. Plates can only be got from the cantonal authority, so that was going to mean phone calls, hassle and a CHF 100 for a new one. But then this morning some bloke phoned me up and told me he had found it. He'd seen it fall off. Brilliant! So it will only cost a bottle of wine and a jar of home made jam. Picking it up this evening. I asked the guy how he had traced me. Was there some internet site or something? He just cagily said that he had his means.... Maybe he's a copper...

Sitting here enjoying the by play on the forum having been advised to leave work early by our on site medical team. My blood pressure is medicated for hypertension but for some reason it's all to cock at the moment. Diastolic has been pretty good but the Sistolic has been all over the shop, 165/100 at lunchtime and I was feeling a bit shitty. Still a good nights sleep tonight and i'm not at work tomorrow so all should be good for a few beers and the sofa on Sunday for the BSB. Really looking forward to seeing how John Hopkins gets on with the Panigale. Andy
