Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Twister 1, Jul 17, 2015.

  1. Hi,

I see a few people have mounted their zumo 660 on their bikes using the Navihalter.

1, anyone goy any pics of a front view and a side view of the zumo fitted using this?

2, anyone used a lockable mount with the Navihalter?

I am looking to mount Zumo 660 on my DVT

    Any help would be appreciated

    Paul

  2. Hi Paul. I didn't fancy this route so went with RAM bolt and holder on the headstock. I prefer it at that height rather than up over the top of the clocks. Works well for me. Can post pics if you're interested?

  3. I'd be interested in those pics PB, as it looks like the Navihalter gets in the way of the screen adjuster?

  4. i would be interested in seeing your pics also. I've already got the ram mounts for fitting but I've just picked my bike today and I'm unsure which is the best way to mount my zumo 660.

  5. Here you go fellas. Any quesquestons, just shout.

  6. cheers for the pics. i decided to order the navihalter mount last night tho because if i have my tank bag on when touring you wouldn't be able to see the satnav in that position

  7. Tallboy, thats exactly the position I am in. When you get the mount and nav fitted I would appreciate side and frontal pics of same

    Thanks

    Paul

  8. will do, you will have to wait a while tho as I'm away to work on monday for 2 weeks.so ill fit it when i get home.

  9. I can assure you, if you have a tank bag then navihalter is the way forward. You can see your clocks and satnav no issue, also screen adjuster is still usable although a little more difficult to use. I can put some photos up in a sec of a 590 mounted on the 2014 multi if it helps, pretty certain it will give you a good idea still. Dunno about lockable mount either, may become and issue I recon.

  10. Here you go, 660 on a Navihalter mount.

  11. looks like the solution, cheers for the pics.

  12. 1500 miles and still the service to be done??

  13. Yeah, been waiting for a new beak as mine is under sprayed and the Ducati badge has been fitted incorrectly. Dealer asked me to wait until they have the part in, it gets its service and new beak tomorrow.

  14. for their convenience they leave a bike with the new oil for 1500 miles.. what dealer is it? Good to hear you will be serviced tomorrow!

  15. Matt, Its not the dealers fault, I have been out playing quite a lot, I'm happy and the dealer has assured me it won't affect the warranty otherwise I would have had to park the bike up and been left without the use of a bike after the first weekend (did 700 miles) which was about a month ago.

  16. I wouldn't wait that long to change the first oil, 3 times the suggested mileage it's a lot in my opinion. Hope you haven't lug the engine too much. There might be lot of crap in that oil by now..
