Bury Hill was nice, decent weather but very un-crowded for some reason. Where were you, Vince, ya monkey? Nice long chat with @CRYSTALJOHN - I enjoyed that, mate. Also met @Altaian briefly, look forward to meeting up with you again soon! Today's fun coincidence. Earlier this week, I decided to buy a second-hand front mudguard for my 999S as you cannot have too many spares. The Post Office failed to deliver it today as I was, duh, at work. So on tonight's ride-out, obviously I would run into a suicidal pigeon out near Goodwood and *drumroll* crack my front mudguard. Honestly, my life's scriptwriter is truly running out of ideas. Poor bird was toast. I found it a few miles later - under my instrument panel, with a wing pointing towards each clip-on. I had caught movement below my sight-line as I was barrelling along and in the gloom, eventually spotted my deceased hitchhiker. The mudguard is repairable and will do for everyday/trackday use but I am glad I now have a spare (hopefully in very good nick, I'll see tomorrow when I collect it from the Post Office).
Couldn't make it tonight but will be there sat afternoon no doubt. Gotta go to Keys MC to collect some Rukka repaired under warranty.
What on earth were you playing at on the ride home ? Why on earth did you sit behind that wide load for so long it was not a pleasant sight
