  6. Been chasing my arse all day. Not caught it yet :frown:

  7. Plodded around all day looking forward to a nice easy Friday...No such luck, found major problems with an aircon system I was servicing, and now I've got a nightmare day to look forward to tomorrow:frown:

  8. Driven from north Norfolk to gatwick to pick up mother in laws mate and brought them back. Felt sorry for the poor folk in the accident that closed the m25 for hours :-(

  9. I wondered where you'd been all day - hope the accident wasn't too nasty, and that it was just metal that was dented.

  10. Took V-Due for its mot, since it sold on eBay this morning and I said it would come with a twelve month ticket.

  11. Afraid not, air ambulance was on scene waiting, one car on its roof and they had another area cordoned off so no-one could see what was going on. This was about 2pm and I don't think they reopened the road till about 5! Just hope that those involved weren't too badly hurt and they were just being mega cautious.

  12. On the plus side I got 52mpg average over the 320 round trip.

  13. What in?

  14. Fuel!

  15. Saab 1.9TiD, 2006 model with 89k on the clock, chipped from 120 to 145bhp

  16. Breakfast, wrapping ebay, then mowed the lawn. Thats twice this month! I must be getting old... :frown:

Out in the garage to cut a few more case-savers & cooler brackets, also got started on a little project...

Bought a new sidestand spring plate for my carby a few months back - the old one was a leetle rusty...

Sadly it would appear even now Ducati can't plate metal any sense? I could see this one going manky after a while. Kept the old one as a pattern...

Plate was 3mm thick? Didnt have any 3mm plate, only 1.5mm and 2mm? Picked up a few random scrap squares on the last visit to my Uncles Fabrication shop.

  17. Ordered some stuff on-line which I have been trying to do all year because I finally have some time off work - so I can be at home when they are all delivered. :upyeah:

Went for my first bike ride in over a month this evening. Rusty is the word that suggests itself.

  18. took a drive out the office along airport road mogadishu, past the site of yesterdays triple suicide bombing to visit the AMSIOM medical facility...other than that a normal dull day at work:biggrin:

  19. Had a ride from Warrington to mates house in Maghull, but went via Prescot, Huyton, Cantril Farm, and Croxteth ..... so very similar 'scenery'
