Hi all, I've been a forum stalker for a little while now but having bought a 1199 Panigale about a month ago I thought it was about time I said hello. So yep, first ever Ducati, I've come from a string of Jap 600's so the jump up to the 1199 has been quite something. It's a 2012 model with just over 2k on the clock. I've been busy with the mods, mostly aesthetic bits for now including the Evotech tail tidy, smaller plate, clear clutch cover, various carbon bits including key guard, heel plates, hugger, engine covers and subframe covers. The engine and subframe covers were added purely to help with the heat but it's a bonus they look good too I have an carbon exhaust heat shield to add to that list once it arrives. Awesome! With the Panigale is the clostest Ducati have ever been to making another piece of art like the 916 ... In my humble opinion.
Btw I'm going this Saturday to Calne, where there's a bike meet going on from Friday, that should be somewhere in your area? If you google "Calne bike show" you should find it..
